Nemer Saade Apartment
Nemer Saade Apartment reimagines a conventional residence as a home for a fashion designer, where space becomes an extension of creative practice. Softness, restraint and openness define the intervention, transforming the existing apartment into a fluid, light-filled environment.
Rather than relying on rigid boundaries, the interior unfolds through a continuous sequence of spaces. Curved walls and softened edges guide movement naturally through the apartment, while visual connections extend toward the garden. Openings are conceived not simply as windows, but as frames for the landscape, strengthening the relationship between interior and exterior.
Flexibility is embedded within the plan. Spaces can expand, overlap or become more intimate through the use of curtains rather than fixed partitions, allowing the apartment to adapt to different moments and ways of living. Above, a flat, uninterrupted ceiling acts as a quiet plane against the fluid geometry of the walls. The fireplace forms a subtle focal point, bringing warmth and tactility to the composition without dominating it.
The material palette is deliberately restrained: natural timber window frames, light oak parquet and white surfaces establish a calm and cohesive backdrop. Within this reduced palette, natural light becomes an architectural material in itself, moving across curved surfaces, revealing textures and changing the character of the interior throughout the day.
The result is an apartment that feels both grounded and fluid, where form, material, light and landscape come together with a sense of quiet continuity. Rather than seeking expression through excess, the project finds its identity through proportion, warmth and restraint.
