Booza LB

Booza LB is an ice cream and coffee concept with branches in Broumana and Gemmayzeh, Beirut. AccentDG developed a recognizable spatial identity for the brand, using architecture, color, lighting and materiality to create a consistent experience across different locations.

At the heart of this identity is a bright yellow corrugated counter set against a predominantly white interior, complemented by linear lighting and carefully integrated display elements. A reinterpretation of the traditional ice-cream kiosk becomes another recurring feature, giving the brand a playful and recognizable architectural language.

Broumana

The Broumana flagship occupies the ground floor of an existing residential building. Folding glazed panels open the interior toward an outdoor terrace, dissolving the boundary between inside and outside and allowing the shop to engage directly with its surroundings.

Internally, the yellow counter organizes the space and separates customer areas from preparation functions and the ice-cream laboratory. The production area remains visible, making the preparation of the artisanal ice cream part of the customer experience.

Outside, seating and a small circular amphitheater extend the social character of the shop beneath a lightweight polycarbonate canopy. Existing elements from the previous space—including furniture, marble, timber and corrugated metal—were reclaimed and incorporated into the new design.

Gemmayzeh

The Gemmayzeh branch translates the same architectural DNA into a more urban Beirut setting. The yellow counter, white backdrop, kiosk-inspired elements and linear lighting establish continuity with Broumana while responding to a different scale and context.

A concrete bench extends from the interior toward the street, allowing the shop to become part of the everyday life of the neighborhood and reinforcing the relationship between retail space and public realm.

Across both locations, Booza LB demonstrates how a consistent architectural language can create a recognizable brand identity while adapting to different sites, scales and urban conditions.
